Direct action by tandem pneumatic cylinder to provide high force

The new Auloma's pneumatic press AD is the best solution for all pressing applications where is not required a precise control or ram motion profile. Thank's to our tandem cylinders TA the presses DA are high perfomed direct action presses and can be used in pressing operations where is required a minimal force of 4kN up to a maximal force of 57kN.

Wide range of strokes adjustable

The press station AD is available in different strokes and the range start from 40mm up to a maximum of 120mm and between these two limits are available intermediate strokes in steps of 20mm. Each stroke can be adjusted and reduced by a mechanical stop adjustable thank's to a fine threaded nuts system. The stroke is controlled by an analog linear tranducer to have a precise knowledge of the stroke values.

A constant force performed on the entire stroke

The advantage of our presses consist in the capacity to provide the nominal force for the entire stroke thank's to our cylinder TA. With our pneumatic press AD the typical problem of hydropneumatic presses where the maximum power is limited at the last 6 - 10mm of the stroke is eliminated.

Different frames for tailor made solutions

Our workstation presses are mainly tailor made solutions. Thank's to the flexibility of our modular system, we can supply frames and machine fittings tailor made to satisfy as well the customer's exigences. The Aluma's AD presses are available with different kind of frames such as gape frame or more stiffness solution as two or four columns frames.

Pressing process monitoring

Auloma brand is famous for its sofisticated systems to monitoring pressing operations, this skills has allowed the development of a new APM (Auloma Process Monitoring) dedicated for pneumatic press. Thank's to the versatility of the pneumatic actuator TA, that could be equipped with s force sensor embedded in the tool holder, the DA presses could be supplied with the process monitoring integrated. The pressing process analysis is based on the evaluation of the force vs displacement waveform generated by the data measured by the sensors embedded in the pneumatic tandem cylinder TA. The analysis results, available on the panel operator, further supply in real time the evaluation of the processed part conformity, supply the possibility of share the analysis data in CSV format to other devices connected through the Ethernet network to obtain statistical data about the process, thus in conformity with the industry 4.0.
